DESIGN
Collaborating with our on site Design Consultancy enables us to offer the complete design and drawing package to complement our fabrication and site installation services.
Using state of the art 3D solid modelling package "Solid Works" and 2D Autocad to produce arrangement and detail drawings, ensures that the clients' requirements are realised and approved prior to going into production in our workshop.
With many years experience within the heavy industrial and materials handling sectors the design office ensures we can produce workable solutions for process plant installations.
FABRICATION
From repetitive quantities to one off bespoke fabrications working to either customers detailed manufacturing drawings or our own supply CAD drawings.
Alphaweld can manage small or large fabrications up to a maximum weight of 20 ton. Smaller quantity items are fabricated on our machine bed plates with production line quantities built using jigs and fixtures to ensure consistency and accuracy.
The company has welding facilities for M.I.G., T.I.G. and M.M.A processes, welding a variety of materials.
Alphaweld has its own in house VT2 PCN Level 2 Inspector.
If required, NDT weld testing to customers requirements can be carried out using dye penetrant, magnetic particle or ultrasonics.
INSTALLATION
We can provide Installation of free issue materials or a complete design, build and installation package. In addition we can offer site teams fully equipped with van, welding set, oxy propane cutting equipment and hand tools etc.
We carry out Risk Assessments for all our activities and from these produce a detailed Method Statement for every operation we do. For lifting operations involving cranes we have CPCS Appointed Persons that produce detailed lift plans and Lift Supervisors that oversee the lifting operation. Our combination of training, expertise and experience means that our customers can rest assured they are getting a first class service.
